photo hunters: furry
It has been a long while since we’ve submitted a Photohunter post - I couldn’t believe my luck when I saw the theme= furry.
Here is Kitty in all his “furry” Persian glory!
silly Mea
We had a nice snow day. There are lots of birdies visiting the feeders. Sometimes, the birdies are not so smart. The Blue-jay was eating the dry cat kibble on the porch. I hope he didn’t get a tummy ache.
My mama got a pair of snow boots made of real furs for a gift last year (which my mama didnt really want boots made of real fur, even thou they were from Coach) and finally wore them for the first time this week. Well, I was so interested in the fur smell that I had to sniff them from every side for about an hour. Mea was smelling the dead fur too. then mama put her hands in the dead fur boots and pretended that they were CHASING Mea! Mea poofed up really really big!!! She thought they came to life!! ha! To chase her! haha!
Next, mama put her boots by the front door, and Mea, thinking they might be a predator, snuck up all stealthy and – WHAP!! Mea gave a strong fast WHAP!! to those fur boots! hahahhah
the moral of this story is that Mea is not so smart…. (just kidding) the real moral to the story is: don’t buy boots made of dead furs or we cats might think they are live enemies

Let it snow!
We are SO ready for the snow. Lots and lots of snow means lots of birdies coming to the feeders! Mea would like to have birdies for her lunch, but I am happy just to watch them hop around.
There are two new outside cats that we’ve spotted eating the food on the porch. One cat looks like a Siamese mix and the other cat looks like our brother from another mother, Kitty – except he/she is very dirty. I guess that living outside is not ideal for having nice furs. Poor little thing. I wonder if they need to be TNR’ed?
Also, Happy Chinese New Year!! whoo-hoo!
Happy inauguration day!
CNN compiled a user submitted Photosynth presentation!! Check it out at www.cnn.com/themoment
My mama really really really wanted to be at the inauguration today, but without a job there was no money for the trip even though DC is a short train ride away.. Growing up in Philadelphia gives a deep understanding for our nation’s history, and history was certainly made today.
Hooray for the new Pres!!!!
easy like Sunday
It is still very cold here in Pennsylvania. We took over Icon’s favorite chair. It doesn’t have a cover anymore because we don’t try to scratch it or make hairballs on it.
