Mancat Monday – my favorite chair
This week, I thought I would show you my favorite chair in my new house, on which I had a hairball. My mama was very upset that I made a soupy hairball on the new chair (which was a gift from her mom).
This is what she did to my favorite chair. Can you believe it!? It is no longer a manly looking chair, because swirly-circles are manly, having towels over it is not.
Lastly, I had to pretend that I don’t care. Do I look believable?

That is a great looking chair! It’s funny how every surface now is covered up. I think my Mommie would do the same thing!

How dare she mess with your chair! I am shocked and appalled. Well okay, I guess it is exactly what I expect from humans but that doesn’t make it right.
Icon, my human puts a soft blanket on the chair where I sleep. Maybe you could talk your mom into getting a little fleece throw instead of the towel on the seat. Just be sure she gets a dark blue one (to set off your fur) and not some girly color like pink.
Poor Icon, You’ve taken in stride, considerating the insult to your dignity. Perhaps your Mom will find you a snuggly throw. We have several. Even being human, certainly she can understand that a towel just will not do at all.
What a beautiful chair. We can see why it’s your favorite. Beans sometimes just don’t understand that we like to make the most mess on the things we enjoy the greatest…hehe!

That happens in my house too. Towels on the rocking chair, towels on the single sofa, towels on the bedside chair. In short, all my favourite places. Yes, I baff up hairballs aplenty. Figures, doesn’t it?
Your chair is very nice, Icon. We are sorry to hear it’s been covered by towels. Thankfully, we don’t have to worry about hairballs.
